Four shell packs to start from. Snares are sold separately, and toms, floors and bass drums come in a choice of depths.

Jazzette
18×14 bass drum, 12×8 tom, 14×14 floor tom. Suggested snare 14×5.5.
Bebop
20×14 bass drum, 12×8 tom, 14×14 floor tom. Suggested snare 14×6.5.
Big Beat Classic
22×14 bass drum, 13×9 tom, 16×16 floor tom. Suggested snare 14×6.5.
Big Band Classic

The build

Bearing edgesBread and Butter on the batter side, Full Contact on the resonant side.

Every edge is cut and sanded by hand in Gladstone. Maple Gum pairs C&C's Bread and Butter edge on the batter side with a Full Contact edge on the resonant side. The combination gives a wider tuning range and real consistency from drum to drum.

ShellsSix plies of maple and gum, 6mm, made in-house.

C&C has made its own shells since 2010. Maple Gum shells are six plies, 6mm: maple outside, gum in the core, and an inner maple ply that runs horizontally for extra strength and brightness. Toms, floor toms and bass drums come in a choice of depths.

Every drum is hand sanded and finished in Gladstone. Painted finishes come in satin or vintage gloss, with Auto Hi-Gloss as an option.

HardwareSingle-ended Deco lugs, 3mm triple-flanged hoops, telescoping spurs.

C&C's single-ended Deco lugs are die-cast steel, plated in high-quality chrome. Maple Gum steps up to 3mm triple-flanged steel hoops. Bass drums get modern telescoping spurs and die-cast claws.
