Gladstone

With a thicker, more robust maple shell than typical maple kits, Gladstone are the drums that first brought C&C notoriety.

Seven plies of North American rock maple, cut thicker than the industry standard. Articulate, bright and resonant, with a fuller body and a more open sound than modern mass-manufactured maple drums.

Bearing edgesBread and Butter, C&C's own edge.

Every edge is cut and sanded by hand in Gladstone. Bread and Butter is C&C's proprietary edge. It lets the shell sound full, open and resonant, with more body than is typical of a modern maple drum, and gives Gladstone a wide tuning range and real versatility.

ShellsSeven plies of North American rock maple, 6mm, made in-house.

C&C has made its own shells since 2010. Gladstone toms and floor toms are 7-ply North American rock maple, 6mm, with plies cut thicker than the industry standard. Snares and 22" and 24" bass drums step up to 10 plies. Toms, floor toms and bass drums each come in two depths.

HardwareSingle-ended Deco lugs, 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops, telescoping spurs.

C&C's single-ended Deco lugs are die-cast steel, plated in high-quality chrome. The hoops are 2.3mm triple-flanged steel. Bass drums get modern telescoping spurs and die-cast Deco claws.
